Konvoi suporter turnamen futsal di Banyuwangi berujung maut. Seorang pembonceng sepeda motor, SM (48), warga Kabupaten Jembrana, Bali, tewas setelah terjatuh dan terlindas dalam kecelakaan beruntun yang melibatkan rombongan konvoi.

Dilansir detikJatim, Kanit Gakkum Satlantas Polresta Banyuwangi Ipda Tri Pepri Alfian membenarkan insiden maut yang terjadi sekitar pukul 15.10 WIB, Sabtu (31/10/2026). Kecelakaan itu melibatkan sepeda motor korban dan rombongan konvoi suporter.

"Betul, kecelakaan melibatkan pengendara Honda Scoopy yang ditabrak oleh rombongan kendaraan konvoi suporter dari arah belakang. Akibatnya, penumpang Scoopy terjatuh dan tertabrak kendaraan lain di belakangnya," ujar Ipda Tri Pepri saat dikonfirmasi, Sabtu (31/10/2026).

Tri Pepri menjelaskan, insiden bermula ketika sepeda motor Honda Scoopy bernomor polisi DK-3517-ZU yang dikendarai oleh MSI (50) berboncengan dengan SM (48) melaju dari arah utara ke selatan. Setibanya di tempat kejadian perkara (TKP), motor korban berniat berbelok ke arah kanan jalan.

Namun, secara bersamaan dari arah yang sama di belakang korban, melaju rombongan kendaraan sepeda motor peserta konvoi suporter. Rombongan tersebut menabrak bagian belakang motor korban hingga membuat SM terjatuh ke badan jalan.

Nahas, seketika itu pula sebuah sepeda motor Yamaha Nmax berpelat nomor P-5295-QBT yang dikendarai oleh AAA (16) berboncengan dengan AAS (16) yang juga bagian dari rombongan melintas dan langsung melindas korban.

"Korban Sdri. SM mengalami luka berat pada bagian kepala. Sementara penumpang Yamaha Nmax atas nama AAS (16) juga mengalami luka pada perut sebelah kanan," tambah Tri Pepri.

Kedua korban luka segera dilarikan oleh warga dan petugas ke RS Fatimah Banyuwangi untuk mendapatkan penanganan medis. Namun, nyawa SM tidak berhasil diselamatkan dan dinyatakan meninggal dunia di rumah sakit akibat luka parah yang dideritanya.
